Dr Matthew Littleton
Matthew earned his B. Dental Science at the University of Queensland and practiced as a graduate in Cairns and Cape York for two years. After six months at the Maxillo-Facial Surgery Unit of the Royal Adelaide Hospital he returned to private practice, buying into the practice in 1991.
Matthew also has a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control), University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies. His particular interest in Neuromuscular Dentistry sees Matthew travelling to the USA several times annually to further enhance his skills.
Outside of dentistry, Matthew’s family of four children keep him and his wife busy, although in his spare time you might catch him flying an aged Piper Cherokee or heading out bush to a small grazing property.
Deb is an Oral Health Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland in 2001 with a strong focus on preventive and children’s dentistry.
Deb’s calm and friendly nature ensures a feeling of comfort and ease for both adults and children. Deb is committed to continual professional development and enjoys attending courses throughout the world to enhance her clinical skills and knowledge.
Deb’s other interests include colonial homes, home restoration and you may find her browsing for antiques and vintage finds.
Jolene is our Dental Hygienist and started work with the team as a dental assistant in 2005. During her studies to gain an Advanced Diploma of Oral Hygiene in Adelaide, she won many awards and academic prizes. Jolene returned to Rockhampton in 2014 with a commitment to dental health and an acute awareness of the relationship between dental and overall health.
Jolene has taken our hygiene department to a whole new level. Her bubbly personality and attention to detail puts everyone at ease. Outside of work, Jolene is generally busy entertaining her very active toddler, along with having an interest in cross training and trail running.
Laila graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Central Queensland University in 2019 and is the newest member of our clinical team. Laila has been a proud student at North Rockhampton State High School and developed a passion for oral health during her time as a dental assistant at Capricornia Dental. She has a keen interest in oral health promotion and paediatric dentistry and is focused on delivering quality preventative and restorative dental treatment in a stress free manner.
Outside of work, Laila enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and playing netball.
